Feature Update: Updates to 2FA Restrictions for Sub-Accounts

We are excited to announce an improvement to our onboarding process for SaaS Sub Accounts, aimed at providing a smoother experience for users while maintaining the highest security standards.

What are we trying to solve?

– Previously, we implemented Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for every sign-up in SaaS, ensuring enhanced security by requiring email and phone number verification.

– While this successfully curbed scammers attempting to create fraudulent SaaS locations, it inadvertently introduced friction in the onboarding of SaaS Sub Accounts, which we are attempting to reduce with this update.

What’s changed?

– We have strategically refined our 2FA implementation by relocating the authentication barrier to the phone number purchase screen.

– This not only streamlines the onboarding process for SaaS sub-accounts but also effectively prevents scammers from exploiting the SMS system.

– We believe that this enhancement strikes a balance between security and user experience, ensuring a seamless onboarding journey for SaaS sub-accounts while maintaining the integrity of our authentication measures.
