In this latest update to Conversation AI, we are excited to introduce the new Configure Bot Intent Tab, which brings enhanced flexibility and control to your bot’s interactions.

# What’s New

– New Intent: Support and General Q/A (Auto-Enabled)

The bot’s primary goal in this intent is to respond to questions asked by contacts. It excels in handling general queries and offering support, ensuring a seamless user experience.

– Direct Appointment Booking in Appointment Booking Intent

The bot will now try to request for date and time from the contact, suggest suitable slots, and book the appointment for the slot chosen by the contact.

# How to Access the Configure Bot Intent Tab

– Navigate to the Conversation AI Settings page.

– Look for the newly added Configure Bot Intent Tab to customise your bot’s intent.

# Possible Intent Scenarios

– Only Support and General Q/A Enabled

In this scenario, the bot will be solely focused on providing support and answering general questions from users.

– Support and General Q/A enabled + Appointment Booking enabled with sending booking link

In this scenario, the bot assists users with support and general queries while also sending them a booking link for appointment scheduling.

Support and General Q/A enabled + Appointment Booking enabled with direct appointment booking

In this scenario, the bot provides support and general information while guiding users through a direct booking flow for appointments.
